Alasdair Banks Maintains His International Appeal
The equestrian paintings of Alasdair Banks can now be found on all five continents. Recent sales of his works by Equestrian Art Ltd include an eventing painting to Hong Kong, racing paintings to New Zealand, South Africa and the US and polo paintings to Australia. Alasdair's highly expressionist pastels and oils are achieving global appeal.
Vineta Sayer Watercolour Auctioned for Demelza Charity Fund Raiser
A watercolour titled 'Horseplay' by Vineta Sayer was donated by the artist and Equestrian Art Ltd to leading childrens hospice charity Demelza and auctioned at their Cirque Demelza charity Ball in London in September. The painting raised over £1000 on the evening.
Revenues up 35 per cent on Previous Year
Equestrian Art Ltd has reported record revenues for FY2012/13 up 35 per cent from the previous year. John Thorley, Director of EAL, commented, ' The performance was due to a number of factors including the investment in new exhibition venues by the company and an increasing demand for original contemporary artworks from our artists which has resulted in higher prices and appreciating values.'
New Member Joins the Blue Rider Gallery team at York
Equestrian Art Ltd is pleased to announce a new addition to its team at its Blue Rider Gallery at York Racecourse. Charlotte Wilkinson, who lives in York, will be in charge of the gallery for some of the remaining meetings at the course including the up-coming John Smith's July meeting.

Mike Heslop, one of Equestrian Art Ltd 'stable' of artists, found himself featured in the national newspress last week. His painting of Ben Hogan in perfect pose on the 18th tee in the final round of the US Open at Merion almost 60 years ago was published in last week's Sunday Times to co-incide with this year's US Open Golf Championship.
