More Bad News & Good News

EAL will be announcing price increases for the works of Alasdair Banks and Vineta Sayer effective from of 1st July 2013.  We have managed to hold the prices of their current work down for the last twelve months, but such has been the demand for their work from enthusiasts and collectors alike we will be pre-announcing the price increases which will average between 20 to 50 per cent.

 

Bad News & Good News

First the bad - EAL are disappointed to announce that we shall not be exhibiting at Chester racecourse in 2013.  The new facility, which was to house the exhibitions and replace the marquee which operated in 2012, could not be implemented in time and in a form which would enable the art to be shown to its best.  We hope to rectify this in time for 2014.  The polo exhibitions at Chester schedul

Seeing Double down to Vodka Time at Newmarket

For the second year running EAL sponsored The equestrianartuk.com Conditions Stakes on the opening day of the season at the Newmarket Craven meeting.  The race was won by Vodka Time ridden by Tom Queally, the jockey of Frankel.  Tom won the same race in 2012 and commented that he was happy to be making it a habit.

Cheltenham Festival 2013 Update

The 2013 Cheltenham Festival will live long in the memory!  On the Monday, we were lucky to escape the Kent countryside before the snow closed in.  Freezing conditions on the first two days of the Festival forced emergency covering of the track and put the racing in doubt on both the Tuesday and Wednesday.  Despite the adverse weather conditions over the whole of the week it didn't seem to put

'Wild Horses' Exhibition at the Menier gallery Update

Equestrian Art hosted its first London exhibition of contemporary equestrian art at the Menier gallery from 19th - 23rd February.  The featured artists were Vineta Sayer MA and Alasdair Banks, two of the UK's leading exponents of expressionist equine art.

EAL Reports Record First Quarter Revenues

EAL Sponsors 'Best Contemporary Art Prize' at 2012 SEA Exhibition

For the third year running, Equestrian Art Ltd has sponsored the prize for the best contemporary artwork at the annual exhibition of the Society of Equestrian Artists held at the Menier gallery in London.  The prize of £250 this year was awarded to Trudy Redfern for her racing painting in oils titled 'Before the Off'  (pictured).  Trudy is currently the 'artist in residence' at Goodwood Raceco
