About
Born in a house overlooking the Derby course at Epsom, Margaret Barrett cannot remember a time when she did not draw and paint horses.
She holds a degree in fine art and her paintings have been exhibited in London, Tokyo and New York.
Margaret is a full member of The Society of Equestrian Artists of Great Britain and has won the Society’s prestigious prize for the ‘Best Oil Painting’ in an exhibition held annually at Christie's.
Her work is regularly published as limited edition prints, greetings cards and as book illustrations. It show’s a lifetime’s love of horses and the countryside.
