Elizabeth graduated from Goldsmith’s College of Art in the early seventies with a Fine Arts degree in painting and textiles.
Elizabeth exhibited in the Drayton Gallery in the early eighties with shows depicting her travelling adventures. Since then, she has concentrated her passion in the equine field and is an Associate Member of the Society of Equestrian Artists (SEA).
Her love of horses has resulted in her more recent exhibitions at Lauderdale House in London. Her latest and most successful exhibition entitled ‘Equine Panorama’ was held at The Fabrications Gallery in North London.
In 2004 she was commissioned by the Shadwell Stud to illustrate the front cover of its annual bloodstock catalogue. This led to an invitation by Sheik Hamdan Al Maktoum to exhibit at the Dubai World Cup.
On the opening of British racing’s newest course, Ffos Las, Elizabeth was commissioned to paint a series of works to decorate the premium members’ areas.
Elizabeth’s style is loose and expressionist, which enables her to create paintings of racing scenes that exude all the power, passion and speed of the Sport of Kings.
