Anne Farrall Doyle
Anne was born and educated in Cheshire, attending Stockport College of Art. After a period in advertising she successfully branched out as an illustrator working for a number of high profile international organisations.
During the course of this time she lived and worked in Spain, Paris, Munich and Los Angeles and most recently in County Wexford, Ireland.
Anne works predominantly in oils applying layers of carefully juxtaposed colours which offer an overall luminosity and freedom to her work. A variety of mediums are used to maximise the visionary effect.
Her work is inspired by her surroundings and her wish to capture special moments both dramatic and mysterious.
Social observations, sports themes and the human form are all rendered with a freedom of line and colour.
Her influences are Gauguin, Whistler, Sorolla and Fairchild amongst many.
